A bruised reed He will not break, and smoking flax He will not quench, till He sends forth justice to victory. -Matthew 12:20 I want that kind of heart. Last week TIME magazine ran a feature story on evangelical churches that are changing their position on homosexuality. (II Timothy 4:21) Chuck Swindoll developed a volume of insight from Paul’s brief request to Timothy cited above, basing his book Come Before Winter on what he’d gleaned from the aging apostle’s thoughts.
